In addition to the three IFK Tumba teams, 59 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Tumba HK 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Lugi HF 1, Eslövs IK, Kärra HF 2, Höörs HK H 65, Hammarby IF HF Vita, Kristianstad HK 1, Back on Track Beachhandbolls Club and Finspångs HK FHK.

IFK Tumba HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Eslövs IK with 10-12. In the Final, Eslövs IK won over Alingsås HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

IFK Tumba HK also participated in Flickor 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Höörs HK H 65 3 with 9-12.
