In addition to the two Lugi teams, 60 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Lugi HF 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Eslövs IK, Kärra HF 2, Höörs HK H 65, Hammarby IF HF Vita, IFK Tumba HK 1, Kristianstad HK 1, Back on Track Beachhandbolls Club and Finspångs HK FHK.

Lugi HF 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Gustavsbergs IF HK with 9-10. In the Final, Eslövs IK won over Alingsås HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

Lugi HF also participated in Flickor 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Kärra HF 1 with 8-15.
