In addition to the two Växjö teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2003. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Växjö HF 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Lödde Vikings HK 1, Uppsala HK Vit, Eslövs HF 2, Kungsängens SK 2, Tollarps IF Vit, HK Ankaret BBHF, Åhus Handboll 3, Strömstad HK and Ystads IF HF Blå.

Växjö HF 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 3 with 7-8. In the Final, IF Swithiod won over IFK Kristianstad 5 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2003.

Växjö HF also participated in Pojkar 2003 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in P03 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Uppsala HK 2 with 5-8.
