In addition to Borlänge HK, 20 other teams played in Herrar Junior 99-00. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK could be found in Group 1 together with IK Baltichov Sämst, Lugi HF, Vinslövs HK, HK Roslagen, Kävlinge HK, OV Helsingborgs Beach HC, IFK Kristianstad 2, H43 Lund HF Linns änglar, Halmstad Handboll and Uppsala HK 2.
Borlänge HK made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Lugi HF, which they won with 8-7.
