In addition to the two Borlänge teams, 77 other teams played in Flickor 2003. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK 1 could be found in Group 5 together with IK Baltichov, Eslövs IK, Halmstad Handboll 3, H43 Lund HF, Kristianstad HK 3, Falköpings AIK HK VIT, Eskilstuna Guif IF, Ystads IF HF 1 and IK Bolton.

Borlänge HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Kristianstad HK 1 with 8-10. In the Final, H43 Lund HF won over Kristianstad HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2003.

Borlänge HK also participated in Flickor 2003 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F03 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Spånga HK 3 with 7-11.
