In addition to Ljunghusens HK, 79 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Ljunghusens HK could be found in Group 8 together with Lödde Vikings HK 1, IFK Kristianstad 1, Bjärnums HK 2, Uppsala HK 3, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb Svart, Huddinge HK 1, Önnereds HK Vit, Tyresö Handboll 1 and Borlänge HK.

Ljunghusens HK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Ronneby HK 1 with 7-9. In the Final, GF Kroppskultur won over Ronneby HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

Ljunghusens HK also participated in Flickor 2006 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the final in C-Slutspel, but lost it against IK Lågan Hörby 1 with 4-5 and ended up in second place.
