In addition to the three Ovesholms teams, 77 other teams played in Flickor 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Ovesholms IF 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Falu HK 2, H43 Lund HF Lund ÖT, Staffanstorps HK Blå, Uppsala HK 3, HK Malmö, Skuru IK, Höörs HK H 65 1, IK Sävehof and Ljungslätt HF.

Ovesholms IF 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against OV Helsingborg HK Vit with 5-10. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 2 won over Eslövs IK 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2004.
