In addition to the two Åhus teams, 17 other teams played in Flickor 18 år (födda 2004). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Halmstad Handboll 1, Kristianstad HK, Lugi HF, Lödde Vikings HK Lödde Vikings, Uppsala HK 1, Höörs HK H 65 1, Eslövs IK and Eskilstuna Guif IF.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK Tjajorna with 7-14. In the Final, Lödde Vikings HK Tjajorna won over Kristianstad HK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 18 år (födda 2004).
