Vetlanda HF was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Flickor 16 år (födda 2007).

In addition to Vetlanda HF, 50 other teams played in Flickor 16 år (födda 2007). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Vetlanda HF could be found in Group 5 together with Ystads IF HF 2, Halmstad Handboll Röd, Skövde HF 1, Åhus Handboll, Uppsala HK 3, AIK Handbollsförening and Lugi HF 3.

Vetlanda HF continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Huddinge HK Blå with 9-13. In the Final, HK Ankaret won over Lugi HF 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 16 år (födda 2007).
