In addition to Åhus Handboll, 50 other teams played in Flickor 16 år (födda 2007). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll could be found in Group 5 together with Ystads IF HF 2, Halmstad Handboll Röd, Skövde HF 1, Vetlanda HF, Uppsala HK 3, AIK Handbollsförening and Lugi HF 3.

Åhus Handboll continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Täby HBK with 10-13. In the Final, Ystads IF HF 1 won over Höörs HK H 65 Svart 07 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 16 år (födda 2007).

Åhus Handboll also participated in Flickor 15 år (födda 2007) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in F15 (f. 2007) A-Slutspel, but lost it against HF Orust with 9-14.
