Claessons lärjungar was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Claessons lärjungar, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Claessons lärjungar could be found in Group 2 together with HK Micro, KaffeKaga Beach Handball Club, Södra Rörum, Bolton Big Ballers 4, Dansa Med HK, Potatiskungarna and Goa gubbar. Claessons lärjungar continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Powerheat Radio with 9-13. In the Final, Avgå Alla won over Powerheat Radio and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Claessons lärjungar comes from Jönköping which lies approximately 210 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
