Goa gubbar was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to Goa gubbar, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Goa gubbar could be found in Group 2 together with HK Micro, KaffeKaga Beach Handball Club, Södra Rörum, Bolton Big Ballers 4, Claessons lärjungar, Dansa Med HK and Potatiskungarna.

Goa gubbar continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Kärlekens boys with 10-11. In the Final, Kärlekens boys won over SALOS DRÄPARE and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

Goa gubbar comes from KRISTIANSTAD which lies approximately 17 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around KRISTIANSTAD does also provide 59 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: Fräcka Falkarna 3, Byfånarna, Bäst före detta, Gott & blandat, MÅSTE VILA, IF Kristianstad, Södra Rörum, Ceimertz, Jaga FC and Avgå Alla).
