Södra Rörum was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to Södra Rörum, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Södra Rörum could be found in Group 2 together with HK Micro, KaffeKaga Beach Handball Club, Bolton Big Ballers 4, Claessons lärjungar, Dansa Med HK, Potatiskungarna and Goa gubbar.

Södra Rörum continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Kärlekens boys with 8-11. In the Final, Kärlekens boys won over SALOS DRÄPARE and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

Södra Rörum comes from Höör which lies approximately 49 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Höör does also provide 59 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: Sopis, HK Björnen, Byfånarna, Mammas pojkar, Bäst före detta, Gott & blandat, Powerheat Radio, Eslövs IK, Veberöds HK and Ceimertz).
