Oompa Loompas ÖKD

Silver medal! Reached second place in B-Slutspel

Oompa Loompas was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.

In addition to Oompa Loompas, 18 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Oompa Loompas could be found in Group 2 together with Handqueens, Kävlinge HK 1, Svarta Fåren, Tollarps IF, Team van Stam, Gulbrunabrudar, B-laget and Weekend warriors.

Oompa Loompas made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Blixten McQueens with 12-13. Thereby Oompa Loompas finished second in ÖKD B-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023.

Oompa Loompas comes from Hörby which lies approximately 41 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Hörby does also provide 76 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: Sopis, Staffanstorps HK, HK Björnen, Byfånarna, Mammas pojkar, Bäst före detta, Gott & blandat, IF Kristianstad, Powerheat Radio and Södra Rörum).
