IK Sund was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with 5 teams in Pojkar 14 år Classic (födda 2010), Pojkar 15 år Classic (födda 2009), Pojkar 16 år Classic (födda 2008), Pojkar 17 år Classic (födda 2007) and Flickor 16 år Classic (födda 2008) respectively. The team in Pojkar 16 år Classic (födda 2008) made it to the the Final in A-Slutspeland won it over Ystads IF HF 1 by 11-9.
In addition to this, IK Sund have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, Sund had two teams playing in Pojkar 15 år (födda 2008) and Flickor 15 år (födda 2008) respectively. The team in Flickor 15 år (födda 2008) made it to the the Final in C-Slutspel, but lost it against Borlänge HK Röd by 9-11. Sund comes from Helsingborg which lies approximately 98 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Helsingborg does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: Lödde Vikings HK, Kävlinge HK, OV Helsingborg HK, Sista minuten, HK Ankaret, C-Slutspel, Eslövs Stolthet, HK Svalöv, Tidlösa Krigare and LVHK 03).
