BAS (Balkan All Stars) ÖKD Classic

BAS (Balkan All Stars) was one of 251 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer Classic.

In addition to BAS (Balkan All Stars), 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer Classic. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof BAS (Balkan All Stars) could be found in Group 1 together with Töserna, Alingsås HK 2, Motståndarna, Djurgården, Halmstad Handboll, Kävlinge HK ’s green flags and Team van Stam.

BAS (Balkan All Stars) continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Temp OH with 6-8. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll won over Djurgården and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer Classic.

BAS (Balkan All Stars) comes from Jönköping which lies approximately 200 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Jönköping does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Gulgröna hjältar, Gröngula hjältar, Habo HK, IFK Bankeryd, Claessons lärjungar, IF Hallby HK and HK Psyk).
