Wårgårda IBK was one of 118 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2016. They participated with one team in Flickor 02.

In addition to Wårgårda IBK, 18 other teams played in Flickor 02. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Wårgårda IBK could be found in Group D together with Växjö IBK, SST NET Landskrona IBK, Pixbo Wallenstam IBF and Onsala IBK 2.

Wårgårda IBK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 5:th place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IBK Göteborg with 0-2. In the Final, Färjestadens ibk won over Onsala IBK 2 and became the winner of Slutspel B in Flickor 02.

Wårgårda IBK comes from Vårgårda which lies approximately 110 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Vårgårda does also provide six additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2016 (Floda IBK, Fristad GoIF Innebandysektionen P06, IBK Alingsås, Fristad Goif, Sandareds IBS and Borås IBF).
