Gold medal! Won the entire C-Slutspel! Congratulations!

In addition to the two Ystads teams, 56 other teams played in Flickor 2001 B2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF 1 could be found in Group 6 together with Alingsås HK, Sollentuna HK, HK Ankaret Bjärred, H 65 Höör 2, Bålsta IF, H43 Lund 1, IFK Klagshamn 2, Ronneby HK 2 and Halmstad Handboll 2.

Ystads IF HF 1 made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 6. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Karlskrona Handboll, which they won with 9-5. Thereby Ystads IF HF 1 won the entire C-Slutspel in Flickor 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
