In addition to the two H43 Lund teams, 56 other teams played in Flickor 2001 B2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof H43 Lund 1 could be found in Group 6 together with Alingsås HK, Sollentuna HK, HK Ankaret Bjärred, H 65 Höör 2, Bålsta IF, Ystads IF HF 1, IFK Klagshamn 2, Ronneby HK 2 and Halmstad Handboll 2.

H43 Lund 1 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Näsby Handboll 1, which they won with 14-13. Thereby H43 Lund 1 won the entire A-Slutspel in Flickor 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
