In addition to the three Eslövs teams, 41 other teams played in Pojkar 2006 D1. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Eslövs HF 2 could be found in Group 1 together with H 78 Sölvesborg, Vinslövs HK 1, Halmstad Handboll 1, LVHK Lödde 1, Uppsala HK, Karlskrona Handboll 1, IK Lågan Hörby 1, IFK Kristianstad 3, GF Kroppskultur Uddevalla and Staffanstorps HK.

Eslövs HF 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Tumba Sthlm with 7-10. In the Final, H43 Lund 1 won over Åhus Handboll 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006 D1.
