In addition to the two Lågan Hörby teams, 64 other teams played in Pojkar 2001 B2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby 2 could be found in Group 7 together with IF Guif Eskilstuna 3, HK Eklöven, Uppsala HK 1, IFK Tumba Sthlm 2, Ronneby HK 2, Borås HK 84 1, IK Sund Helsingborg and IFK Kristianstad 1.

IK Lågan Hörby 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Växjö HF 2 with 6-15. In the Final, Rimbo HK Roslagen won over Växjö HF 2 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001 B2.
