In addition to Rimbo HK Roslagen, 65 other teams played in Pojkar 2001 B2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Rimbo HK Roslagen could be found in Group 2 together with Karlskrona Handboll 1, Halmstad Handboll 2, Eslövs HF 2, IFK Kristianstad 2, Alingsås HK 2, Växjö HF 1, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm and Åhus Handboll 1.

Rimbo HK Roslagen made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Växjö HF 2, which they won with 14-12. Thereby Rimbo HK Roslagen won the entire C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
