In addition to HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm, 65 other teams played in Pojkar 2001 B2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm could be found in Group 2 together with Karlskrona Handboll 1, Rimbo HK Roslagen, Halmstad Handboll 2, Eslövs HF 2, IFK Kristianstad 2, Alingsås HK 2, Växjö HF 1 and Åhus Handboll 1.
HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IF Guif Eskilstuna 3 with 9-14.
