Silver medal! Reached second place in C-Slutspel

In addition to the two Växjö teams, 64 other teams played in Pojkar 2001 B2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Växjö HF 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Skogås HK Sthlm 1, IFK Bankeryd 2, IK Lågan Hörby 1, H43 Lund 3, Halmstad Handboll 1, IK Sävehof Partille, Norrköpings HK, Kävlinge HK 1 and Eslövs HF 1.

Växjö HF 2 made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Rimbo HK Roslagen with 12-14. Thereby Växjö HF 2 finished second in P01 C-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
