In addition to the four H43 Lund teams, 62 other teams played in Pojkar 2001 B2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof H43 Lund 3 could be found in Group 1 together with Skogås HK Sthlm 1, IFK Bankeryd 2, Växjö HF 2, IK Lågan Hörby 1, Halmstad Handboll 1, IK Sävehof Partille, Norrköpings HK, Kävlinge HK 1 and Eslövs HF 1.

H43 Lund 3 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Uppsala HK 3 with 9-12. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 2 won over Uppsala HK 3 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001 B2.
