Gökstens BK Torshälla F06

In addition to Gökstens BK Torshälla, 42 other teams played in Flickor 2006 D1. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Gökstens BK Torshälla could be found in Group 2 together with Tollarps IF 2, Ronneby HK 2, Trelleborg HBK 2, Ystads IF HF, Åhus Handboll 2, LVHK Lödde 4, Kristianstad HK 3, Ljunghusens HK 2, Staffanstorps HK and Alingsås HK 2.

Gökstens BK Torshälla continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against HK Malmö with 1-3. In the Final, Vinslövs HK 1 won over Halmstad Handboll 1 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2006 D1.
