Silver medal! Reached second place in C-Slutspel
In addition to the two Halmstad teams, 41 other teams played in Flickor 2006 D1. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Näsby Handboll 1, Åhus Handboll 1, H 65 Höör 2, Tomelilla IF 2, LVHK Lödde 2, HK Malmö, Eslövs IK 1, Vinslövs HK 2, Karlskrona Handboll and H43 Lund 2.

Halmstad Handboll 1 made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Vinslövs HK 1 with 2-7. Thereby Halmstad Handboll 1 finished second in F06 C-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
