In addition to the two Näsby teams, 41 other teams played in Flickor 2006 D1. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Näsby Handboll 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Åhus Handboll 1, Halmstad Handboll 1, H 65 Höör 2, Tomelilla IF 2, LVHK Lödde 2, HK Malmö, Eslövs IK 1, Vinslövs HK 2, Karlskrona Handboll and H43 Lund 2.

Näsby Handboll 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Kristianstad HK 2 with 3-4. In the Final, Ronneby HK 1 won over Ljunghusens HK 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2006 D1.
