In addition to the two Näsby teams, 30 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Näsby Handboll 1 could be found in Group 4 together with KFUM Kalmar HK, Kävlingebeach, Upsala IF, Ziggy Pausen, La Bamba, Barbapapporna & jag and Nossebro IF.

Näsby Handboll 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Mormors pojkar with 9-10. In the Final, Mormors pojkar won over Lasse spadez and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.
