In addition to the two Näsby teams, 40 other teams played in Flickor 1999 A2. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Näsby Handboll 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Hässleholms HF 1, H43 Lund 2, Finspångs HK, Lugi HF 4, Trelleborg HBK 1, IFK Malmö HF, Kävlinge HK, IF Guif Eskilstuna, Uppsala HK 2 and Alingsås HK 1.

Näsby Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Sorunda IF Sthlm with 6-10. In the Final, H43 Lund 2 won over Sorunda IF Sthlm and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 1999 A2.
