In addition to the two Näsby teams, 57 other teams played in Flickor 2005 D2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Näsby Handboll 2 could be found in Group 1 together with H43 Lund 4, Hammarby IF Sthlm, Halmstad Handboll 3, Eslövs IK 2, Huddinge HK Sthlm 1, Karlskrona Handboll 2, IK Pandora Ystad, H 65 Höör 1 and LVHK Lödde 1.

Näsby Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Näsby Handboll 1 with 3-6. In the Final, Trelleborg HBK 1 won over Näsby Handboll 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2005 D2.
