Silver medal! Reached second place in B-Slutspel

In addition to the two Ljunghusens teams, 41 other teams played in Flickor 2006 D1. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Ljunghusens HK 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Tollarps IF 2, Ronneby HK 2, Trelleborg HBK 2, Ystads IF HF, Åhus Handboll 2, LVHK Lödde 4, Kristianstad HK 3, Gökstens BK Torshälla, Staffanstorps HK and Alingsås HK 2.

Ljunghusens HK 2 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Ronneby HK 1 with 7-8. Thereby Ljunghusens HK 2 finished second in F06 B-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
