In addition to the two Tollarps teams, 41 other teams played in Flickor 2006 D1. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Tollarps IF 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Ronneby HK 2, Trelleborg HBK 2, Ystads IF HF, Åhus Handboll 2, LVHK Lödde 4, Kristianstad HK 3, Ljunghusens HK 2, Gökstens BK Torshälla, Staffanstorps HK and Alingsås HK 2.

Tollarps IF 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 11:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Trelleborg HBK 1 with 1-3. In the Final, Vinslövs HK 1 won over Halmstad Handboll 1 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2006 D1.
