In addition to the two LUGI teams, 43 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof LUGI HF 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Trelleborg HBK, IK Pandora Ystad, Borås HK 84 2, H43 Lund 3, H 65 Höör 3, Växjö HF, Bålsta IF and IFK Tumba Sthlm 2.

LUGI HF 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Uppsala HK 1 with 7-9. In the Final, Eslövs IK won over HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A1.
