In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 43 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 1 could be found in Group 3 together with H 65 Höör 1, Finspångs HK, KFUM Lundagård, Kristianstad HK 2, Eslövs IK, Borlänge HK 2, Skara HF 2 and Rimbo HK Roslagen.

Uppsala HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Eslövs IK with 9-11. In the Final, Eslövs IK won over HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A1.
