In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 40 other teams played in Flickor 1999 A2. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Näsby Handboll 2, Hässleholms HF 1, H43 Lund 2, Finspångs HK, Lugi HF 4, Trelleborg HBK 1, IFK Malmö HF, Kävlinge HK, IF Guif Eskilstuna and Alingsås HK 1.

Uppsala HK 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Gökstens BK Torshälla with 9-15. In the Final, H43 Lund 1 won over H 78 Sölvesborg and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 1999 A2.
