In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 1 could be found in Group 2 together with Halmstad Handboll 6, H43 Lund 4, IK Lågan Hörby, IFK Kristianstad 2, Växjö HF 2, Eslövs HF 1, Ystads IF HF 2, IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 and Kärra HF Göteborg.

Uppsala HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Huddinge HK Sthlm with 9-10. In the Final, IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 won over Åhus Handboll 5 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004 C1.
