Resten was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to Resten, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Resten could be found in Group 2 together with Stavstens vänner 1, Team van Stam, Uffes Brudar, H 65 Höör, Hultic BK Åby, As-kalas and Strömstad HK. Resten continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Stavstens vänner 2 with 7-14. In the Final, Wild Ones won over Stavstens vänner 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. Resten comes from Sölvesborg which lies approximately 20 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
