In addition to the 5 LUGI teams, 37 other teams played in Flickor 1999 A2. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof LUGI HF 3 could be found in Group 2 together with Eslövs IK, Uppsala HK 1, IK Sävehof Partille, Halmstad Handboll 1, H 65 Höör 1, KFUM Lundagård, Karlskrona Handboll, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1 and Näsby Handboll 1.

LUGI HF 3 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Rimbo HK Roslagen with 8-9. In the Final, Uppsala HK 1 won over IF Guif Eskilstuna and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 1999 A2.
