In addition to Eslövs IK, 41 other teams played in Flickor 1999 A2. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Eslövs IK could be found in Group 2 together with Uppsala HK 1, IK Sävehof Partille, Halmstad Handboll 1, H 65 Höör 1, KFUM Lundagård, LUGI HF 3, Karlskrona Handboll, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1 and Näsby Handboll 1.

Eslövs IK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Tumba Sthlm 3 with 7-8. In the Final, H43 Lund 2 won over Sorunda IF Sthlm and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 1999 A2.
