Eslövs IK was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with 27 teams in 11 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 29 categories. Four teams played until Final in A-Slutspel; Flickor 2005 C1 1 won over H43 Lund 1 by 11-10, Flickor 2006 D2 1 lost against Alingsås HK 1 by 8-9, Flickor 2000 A2 lost against Trelleborg HBK 1 by 8-11 and Damer Junior 97-99 lost against Uppsala HK 1 by 8-10.
In addition to this, Eslövs IK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016, Eslövs had 24 teams playing in 11 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 28 categories. Two teams played until Final in A-Slutspel; Flickor 2000 A1 won over HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 1 by 13-12 but Flickor 2006 D1 3 lost against Alingsås HK 2 by 10-11. Eslövs comes from Eslöv which lies approximately 64 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Eslöv does also provide 78 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017 (Among others: Lundagårds Mammor, IF Malmö Redhawks, Stiffes änglar, Second Generations of Tonårsmammorna, SuperDABs, CHIQUITAS BONITAS, Lemon-Lime, Kastberga åkeri, Botulfsplatsens BK and Ekes Lamm).
