In addition to the two Växjö teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Växjö HF 2 could be found in Group 4 together with IFK Kristianstad 4, Tomelilla IF 2, IK Lågan Hörby, IFK Malmö HF, Rimbo HK Roslagen, Uppsala HK 2, Halmstad Handboll VIT 2, Alingsås HK 2 and KFUM Kalmar HK.
Växjö HF 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Bankeryd with 10-11. In the Final, IFK Bankeryd won over Tomelilla IF 1 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004 C2. Växjö HF also participated in Pojkar 2004 C1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
