Republikskrik ÖKD

Republikskrik was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.

In addition to Republikskrik, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Republikskrik could be found in Group 1 together with Vinslövs HK 2, Homegirls, The tall woodswomen, HP Warta, H43 Lund 1, Fricks Cement and Söderbönor 2.

Republikskrik continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Uffes Brudar with 3-8. In the Final, Uffes Brudar won over H43 Lund 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer.

Republikskrik comes from Malmö which lies approximately 90 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 65 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017 (Among others: Lundagårds Mammor, IF Malmö Redhawks, Stiffes änglar, Second Generations of Tonårsmammorna, SuperDABs, CHIQUITAS BONITAS, Lemon-Lime, Kastberga åkeri, Botulfsplatsens BK and Kävlinge HK).
