Eksjö BK was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Pojkar 2003 B1.

In addition to Eksjö BK, 69 other teams played in Pojkar 2003 B1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Eksjö BK P-03 could be found in Group 3 together with Eslövs HF 3, HK Hylte, IFK Kristianstad 3, H 78 Sölvesborg 2, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1, Önnereds HK Gbg Lag 1, H43 Lund 2, Åhus Handboll 1 and Borlänge HK.

Eksjö BK P-03 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Tollarps IF with 8-11. In the Final, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 1 won over IFK Kristianstad 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2003 B1.

Eksjö BK also participated in Pojkar 2003 C2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the Semi final in P03 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Alingsås HK 1 with 11-12.

Eksjö comes from EKSJÖ which lies approximately 200 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around EKSJÖ does also provide two additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017 (Vetlanda HF and Hultsfreds HF).
