Silver medal! Reached second place in A-Slutspel
In addition to Gustavsbergs IF HK, 49 other teams played in Flickor 2001 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Gustavsbergs IF HK could be found in Group 3 together with IK Lågan Hörby 2, H43 Lund 1, Uppsala HK 1, Staffanstorps HK, IF Guif Eskilstuna 1, Växjö HF, IK Baltichov Gbg 1, Åhus Handboll and IFK Klagshamn.
Gustavsbergs IF HK made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Uppsala HK 1 with 6-8. Thereby Gustavsbergs IF HK finished second in F01 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. Gustavsbergs IF HK also participated in Flickor 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
