In addition to the three Eskilstuna Guif teams, 62 other teams played in Pojkar 2006. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Eskilstuna Guif IF 3 could be found in Group 6 together with Önnereds HK 2, Kävlinge HK, Alingsås HK 4, Åhus Handboll 1, HK Hök, IK Lågan Hörby 3, H 78 Sölvesborg 1 and Ystads IF HF 2.

Eskilstuna Guif IF 3 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against H 78 Sölvesborg 2 with 8-11. In the Final, HK Silwing/Troja won over Eskilstuna Guif IF 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006.
