In addition to the three Eskilstuna Guif teams, 62 other teams played in Pojkar 2006. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Eskilstuna Guif IF 1 could be found in Group 7 together with GF Kroppskultur, Växjö HF, Åhus Handboll 2, Vinslövs HK, IK Lågan Hörby 2, H43 Lund HF 3, Ronneby HK 2 and Trelleborg Handbollsklubb Svart.

Eskilstuna Guif IF 1 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against HK Silwing/Troja with 7-9. Thereby Eskilstuna Guif IF 1 finished second in P06 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
