In addition to the two Trelleborg teams, 63 other teams played in Pojkar 2006. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Trelleborg Handbollsklubb Svart could be found in Group 7 together with Eskilstuna Guif IF 1, GF Kroppskultur, Växjö HF, Åhus Handboll 2, Vinslövs HK, IK Lågan Hörby 2, H43 Lund HF 3 and Ronneby HK 2.

Trelleborg Handbollsklubb Svart continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Trelleborg Handbollsklubb Vit with 3-12. In the Final, HK Silwing/Troja won over Eskilstuna Guif IF 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006.
