In addition to the three Halmstad teams, 75 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll Halmstad handboll 3 could be found in Group 6 together with Uppsala HK 3, Höörs HK H 65 2, Huddinge HK 4, Ystads IF HF 2, Ronneby HK 2, Staffanstorps HK, H43 Lund HF 5 and Eslövs IK 1.
Halmstad Handboll Halmstad handboll 3 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Rørby/Værslev IF with 4-7. In the Final, Lugi HF 1 won over Vinslövs HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2006. Halmstad Handboll also participated in Flickor 2006 D2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017.
