Halmstad Handboll was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with 43 teams in 15 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 32 categories. The team in Senior Förening Herrar made it to the the Semi final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Åhus Handboll by 10-13.
In addition to this, Halmstad Handboll have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017, Halmstad had 48 teams playing in 17 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 29 categories. The team in Flickor 2004 C2 made it to the the Final in A-Slutspeland won it over Åhus Handboll 1 by 11-10.
